EWTG is a statewide community of women within Texas government & non-government entities who invest in each other’s growth. Membership gives you practical tools, meaningful connections, and chances to lead at every career stage.
Membership in EWTG offers access to an array of opportunities such as professional development, networking with other professionals, and peer support. Some additional benefits include:
- Leadership Training: All EWTG programs are designed to encourage and enhance your leadership skills. EWTG sponsored events provide attendees with the skills and knowledge to succeed in leadership roles. EWTG also offers you the chance to develop and demonstrate leadership skills through participation in committees and community involvement activities.
- Professional Networking and Peer Support: Whether you need new ideas, a fresh perspective, or someone to help you celebrate your accomplishments or get you through tough times, EWTG’s got you covered. Diverse viewpoints from members in state agencies, higher education, and the private sector make EWTG’s peer mentoring top notch.
- Annual Professional Development Conference: The EWTG conference, held each year in November or December, draws participants from across the state. This don’t-miss event delivers the right blend of leadership know-how, insight, and inspiration in a combination of keynote speeches and practical workshops.
- Scholarships: EWTG also offers scholarships to enhance personal or professional growth through workshops, conferences, seminars, and higher education. Invest in yourself—join EWTG today.
Membership Types
- For government or higher education employees who develop, direct, manage, supervise, or administer people, programs, or policies.
- For public or private employees whose work supports EWTG’s purpose.
- For members retired from Full or Partner status.
- For students enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
Already a member and need to renew?
Memberships are anniversary-based and renewed annually. Activation begins on the dues payment date and expires one year later. Early renewals extend from your current expiration date.

Getting the Most from Your Membership
Our New Member Guide is a simple 30-day starting point to help you get connected, meet other members, and explore what EWTG has to offer. Start by thinking about what brought you to EWTG and what you’d like to get out of your membership. Maybe you’re looking for professional development, new friendships, leadership opportunities, or simply a place to connect with women who understand your work and goals. Our Success Teams are a great way to begin, with groups ranging from Book Club to Artificial Intelligence to Brunch Bunch. Our newest Success Team, First Year Foundations, allows members in their first year of membership the opportunity to learn more about EWTG together.
Upcoming Events
EWTG offers events throughout the year to help members connect, learn, and stay engaged with the community. Our Engagement Committee hosts periodic onboarding to help new members plug in quickly. Visit the Events calendar for the most current opportunities, including networking gatherings, learning sessions, Success Team activities, and special programs.
